As the Founder and Principal Consultant of Arrows Edge Solutions, Virginia "Gina" Meléndez brings over 20 years of enterprise project management expertise to workforce development. Prior to launching Arrows Edge Solutions, Gina served as Associate Director at UnitedHealth Group, where she directly managed enterprise structures. She saw firsthand how structured, "earn-while-you-learn" models solve critical talent shortages, and how overwhelming the administrative compliance burden can be for organizations without dedicated workforce teams.

Building on an 11-year tenure at UnitedHealth Group, most recently as Associate Director of Early Careers Clinical Programming. Gina brings deep expertise in directing multi-state apprenticeship portfolios and cross-functional teams.
Throughout her corporate career, Gina has partnered with executive leaders, healthcare operations, and internal teams to establish structured learning pipelines, streamline program delivery, and work directly alongside the U.S. Department of Labor to ensure strict regulatory compliance. Her approach combines rigorous governance with human-centered design to ensure programs remain audit-ready and scalable.
